Start Speaking Spanish

Personally, I think the school should just sent us all to Spain for a month. Wouldn’t that save them time and money? I study alot and try my hardest, but I can never seem to remeber the words well. Do those learn Spanish tapes work well?
I have been taking Spanish for 3.5 years now. I can somewhat speak it, but not as much as I’d like to.

When I lived in Spain, I used it a lot, but talking to Mexican and Latin American speakers here in the US, I rarely hear it except occasionally.
Di you think the Pretorit will drop out of use?
